Terms of service

Last updated October 26, 2026

These terms apply when you use MyRetreatDesk to book a retreat or to sell one. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them, and to our Privacy policy.

Our role

MyRetreatDesk provides the booking and payment platform. Each retreat is run by its organizer, who is responsible for the retreat itself: the accommodation, program, safety and anything they promise on their page. Your booking contract for the retreat is with the organizer.

Bookings and payments

  • A bed is held for 30 minutes while you pay. Your booking is confirmed when your first payment succeeds.
  • If you choose a payment plan, you authorize us to charge your saved card on each due date shown at checkout.
  • If an automatic payment fails, we retry on the organizer's schedule and email you a link to pay. If the balance is still unpaid after the final retry, your bed may be released.
  • Prices are charged in US dollars. Prices shown in other currencies are estimates.
  • Promo and referral codes have the conditions shown with them and can't be exchanged for cash.

Cancellations and refunds

Each retreat has its own cancellation policy, shown before you pay and in your waiver. Refunds follow that policy and go back to the card you paid with.

For organizers

  • You are responsible for your retreat, its listing, and complying with the laws that apply to it, including guest registration and tax.
  • Guest payments go to your Stripe account, minus MyRetreatDesk's platform fee for your plan. Payouts are also subject to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.
  • Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can switch or cancel any time in Manage billing.
  • Use guests' personal data only to host their stay.

Acceptable use

Don't make fake bookings, hold beds you don't intend to pay for, list retreats you can't deliver, or try to access other people's data. We may suspend accounts or unpublish listings that break these terms.

Liability

We work to keep MyRetreatDesk available and accurate but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for the retreat itself, which is the organizer's responsibility. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms we'll update this page and, for significant changes, tell you by email. Questions? email myretreatdesk@gmail.com.
