Pricing questions
Is there a commission on bookings?
No marketplace commission. You pay the platform fee for your plan (1.5% on Starter and Venue, 0% on Pro) on payments guests make, plus card processing from Stripe or PayPal.
Who pays the fees, me or the traveler?
You choose, per retreat. You can pass the card processing fee, the platform fee, both or neither to travelers. Prices are grossed up so you receive exactly what you expect.
When does Pro pay for itself?
Pro costs $199 a month and removes the 1.5% platform fee. On about $13,300 or more of bookings a month the fee you save covers the subscription, before counting the Pro features.
What is the setup fee on Venue?
A one-time $297 done-for-you setup of your first retreat: rooms, prices, policies and emails. It is waived under the founder offer when you launch your first retreat in your first week.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, any time from Manage billing in your dashboard. Paid plans renew monthly. Venue has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Do I need a Stripe or PayPal account?
Yes. Guests pay into your own account, so you connect Stripe or PayPal once from your dashboard. Setup takes a few minutes on their site.
