Website and community vs booking depth
RetreatsOS gives teachers a personal website, retreat pages, a public activity calendar, class sign-ups, a CRM, marketing tools and WhatsApp messaging for sign-ups and reminders. If you want one place to run classes and community as well as retreats, that breadth is the point.
MyRetreatDesk concentrates on what happens once someone decides to book: picking a room or bed, paying a deposit, an installment plan that charges itself, retries when a card fails, a waitlist, group quotes and a profit simulator. Its booking page can live on your existing website through the widget (Pro).
Payments
RetreatsOS says payments are taken by card through Stripe, in USD. Deposits, payment plans and automatic installments aren't described on its pricing or home page. MyRetreatDesk supports deposits and up to 12 automatic monthly installments through Stripe, or payment links through PayPal, with fees you can pass to guests or absorb.
