Rooms and beds
WeTravel offers room inventory and rooming lists on its Pro plan, suited to trips where travelers pick a room type. MyRetreatDesk is built around the venue itself: each cottage, suite, twin room or dorm bed is listed, guests pick the exact one, and a bed can only be sold once. Shared rooms can be split between two guests who each pay their half.
Payments and payouts
Both offer payment plans with automatic charging and reminders. WeTravel collects into a WeTravel balance that you transfer to your own or your suppliers' bank accounts, and supports bank transfers such as ACH and SEPA at no fee, plus pricing in 34 currencies.
MyRetreatDesk pays every charge into your own Stripe or PayPal account, retries failed cards on your schedule, and releases a place to the waitlist only after the grace period you set. Prices can be shown in USD, EUR, GBP or INR, and charges settle in USD.
Planning and profit
MyRetreatDesk includes a live profit simulator on every plan: your fixed and per-guest costs, VAT and fees, and the break-even headcount as bookings arrive.
